Blaster Master, known in Japan as 超惑星戦記メタファイト (Chou Wakusei Senki: Metafight, "Super Planetary War Records: Metafight"), is an action adventure platformer. You drive around in a tank trying to find your lost pet frog while blasting away enemies. At certain points in the game you enter tunnels where the game plays as a top-down scrolling shooter. Tunnels contain power ups and the boss of each section. Each boss gives you a special addition to your tank that gives you the power to get to the next level.
