Cheat ideas

This guide is meant to give ROM detectives new ides for making cheats. It's mainly a list of the most common cheats for various genres of video games. The list below describes various game mechanics that are common in games, and how you can adjust them.

Lives	Start with more lives, get more lives on pick-up, infinite lives
Hit Points	Start with more hit points, have more possible hit points, get more hit points on pick-up, infinite hit points
Invulnerability	Always invulnerable, always invincible
Ammo	Start with more ammo, get more ammo on pickup, infinite ammo
Shooting	Rapid fire, bullets move faster, bullets do more damage
Power Up	Start with power up, keep power up after being hit
Weapons / Items	Have weapon, keep weapon after being hit
Money	Start with more money, items cost less, infinite money
Scoring	Start with points, get more points per score
Movement	Move faster
Jumping	High jump, fast jump, moon gravity
Enemies	Enemies taker fewer hits, enemies are slower, enemies shoot less
Time	More time, time counts slower, infinite time
Levels	Start on different level, skip multiple levels
Continues	More continues, infinite continues
