Double Dragon, known in Japan as 双截龍 [Daburu Doragon] Double Dragon, is a beat-em-up where you play Billy or Jimmy in an attempt to rescue Billy's girlfriend from a violent gang. As you become more experienced, you'll learn more powerful attacks like the headbutt, jump kick, and the hair-pull kick. Each stage has several bad guys you must beat up as well as a more difficult boss at the end. The game also includes a mini game of a vs. fighting game. Unlike the original arcade game, only one player can play at a time. The game's sequel is Double Dragon II: The Revenge (NES).
