Life Force, known in Japan as 沙羅曼蛇 [Saramanda] Salamander, is a scrolling shoot-em-up based on the arcade game. It features several elements similar to the earlier game Gradius (NES). You pilot a ship that must blast through several levels full of enemy ships, each ending with a boss. Power ups are collected though the game to give speed ups, missiles, lasers, ripples, and options.
