Rolling Thunder, known in Japan as ローリングサンダー [Roringu Sanda] Rolling Thunder]], is a platform run-and-gun based on the original arcade game. You play as an agent codenamed Albatross who is trying to save Leila Blitz, who is being held captive at the hands of Maboo, leader of the evil New York organization GELDRA. You progress along the levels, entering rooms to find power ups, and shooting the bad guys. Capcom released a very identical title called Code Name: Viper (NES).
