Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, known in Japan as ゼルダの伝説パート2 リンクの冒険 [Zeruda no Densetsu, Pato Tsu: Rinku no Boken] The Legend of Zelda, Part 2: Link's Adventure, is an action adventure game. In the story, Ganon's minions have put princesses to sleep in an effort to bring Ganon back to power. Link must defeat Ganon's minions to prevent him from being brought back. The game primarily uses a side-view and is more combat intensive than the first.
The game is the sequel to The Legend of Zelda (NES), and was followed up by The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES).
